Hi everyone,
My client wants a fully French Workspace experience. We've managed to translate almost everything, but we're stuck on one specific point: the Activity Stream.
When an email is received, it appears in the activity stream with the original English subject line (e.g. "Incident has been ..", instead of the french translated email)
The email itself is sent and received in French ✅
The notification was translated using the Translated Notifications related list ✅ — see screenshot #2.
But the subject line displayed in the activity stream still shows in English (original object name).
My client does not want to pay for a Dynamic Translation licence.
Aside from changing the subject in the original email template, what options do I have to get this displayed in French in the activity stream?
Thanks in advance for any advice! 🙏

It depends on the languages on the platform. If you only email in French, just don't use English emails. Create them in French. Because the system will simply pick up the email that is send (and that's in English) and it doesn't check on which language is used to actually send it.
And they have closed the door on the dynamic translation, so that's their choice.
And if multiple languages are used and you need to see what was actually sent, you need to go back to the old way of creating notifications: include the user.language in the condition and send it to the user in their own language (one notification per language, no longer using the related translations).
Please mark any helpful or correct solutions as such. That helps others find their solutions.

Hi @gdo,
Have you installed the Internationalization plugin, which is the core plugin for translation? If not, then install this plugin; this will help you to translate.
If you find my answer useful, please mark it as Helpful and Correct. 😊
