How can I customize Service Operation Workspace dashboard?

Hi All,

I have a requirement to replace the main Overwiew dashboard in Service Operations Workspace with another, customized and editable dashboard.

I attached a screenshot of how it looks now, it is a default view of SOW.

How can I edit it or replace it with a different dashboard?

I tried to follow this article:

but editing the script had no effect.

Can someone help me with this?

Have you made a variant of the 'home' page in UI builder?

If so, you need to change the order and/or conditions and/or audience, to show it as default.

If you havent made a variant please elaborate on what you have done so far.

Could you tell me what steps I need to take to create a variant of the 'home' page?

Dear Peter,

Thank you for this article, it helped me a lot.
I created a variant of the home page and I am able to modify it and view my modifications as end user. Now I have another problem. I need to add a custom dashboard to the Overview section. In UI Builder I added an element "Dashboard Overview", but it shows "no dashboards yet" and I cannot add any dashboard to it (see screenshot). How can I add a content to it?
