how to add clickable link in description field

description field is string type and hence it cannot show any html content i.e. link etc

so this is not possible

why not show field message or info message near that field?

Wonderful, Thanks for your quick response. Yes you are right Ankur but what I am looking is  without html field can it be possible on string field .

string field also doesn't support clickable link

You can use journal field like work notes to add link
