How to Build AI Agent for Incident Description Summary

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to build an AI Agent that generates a summary using the Short Description and Description fields from the Incident table. I attempted to add a Script Tool to an existing AI Agent and provided tool instructions, but I’m not sure what logic should actually go inside the script.

Could someone guide me on how to properly structure the Script Tool, what functions I should use, or share an example of how to fetch and return the Incident description fields for summarization?

Any help or best practices would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @HarikaNakhate,

why don't you use the OOTB AI skill "Incident summarisation" for that?

There are more fields taken as input for summarisation but if you want just short description and description, you can duplicate that skill and adjust accordingly, but I want to inform you that in SD and Description there's not so many details to make summarisation... that's why the OOTB solution have more fields than these two only.
