IMAP Connection timed out or authentication failed

Hello

 

We have enabled IMAP oAuth2.0, but the connection is timed out or authentication error.
We have given all oAuth entity scope in app registry.

Unable to connect to the servicenow.

port 993.



While manually login to the outlook, we can see that the mails are received, we are not able to receive it in ServiceNow

kindly suggest if you have a solution.

I would suggest to delete the authentication token and configure the connection again. Make sure:

1. You are using incognito

2. Login to the browser with the email you will use to authenticate the Email Account on the instance.

3. Make sure the authentication is set to OAuth 2.0 and verification to 'Customer Credentials'

4. Make sure the OAuth scope is "https://outlook.office.com/IMAP.AccessAsUser.All"
