Hi ,
We are implementing Major Incident Management (MIM) in ServiceNow and want to integrate it with Microsoft Teams for real-time notifications.
Requirements:
- How to implement MIM?
- When a Major Incident is created or updated in ServiceNow, a notification should post to a Teams channel.
- All updates (status changes, work notes, comments) should flow through Teams automatically.
Questions:
- Is IntegrationHub mandatory for this setup?
- We currently have Microsoft Teams Communications Spoke and Microsoft Teams Graph Spoke – are these sufficient for the integration?
- Which approach is recommended?
- Any sample configurations, scripts, or architecture diagrams for posting incident updates to Teams?
- Best practices to avoid duplicate notifications and ensure clear message formatting?
Has anyone implemented this successfully? Please share your experience, tips, or pitfalls to avoid.
