Why record is not numbered automatically.

Hi All,

I have created custom table. I want number to be automatically generated when new record is created. I user get next obj but that is not working. Please see attachment and suggest solutions.

Hi  @Tarasingh26 ,

         Please create a record in number maintenance table by selecting your custom table and also the required format your expecting. You need not go for the script at the dictionary level.

tried all solutions but no success. Table is not in global scope. Is this might be the issue?

Create a Record for Prefix and numbering in sys_number_list.do.
