why sometimes workflow is not triggering for request and to the corresponding request item ??

sometimes I am seeing Request approval status as requested for approval and the workflow of RITM was not triggering.

I do have 10 requests like that but for remaining it is working as expected. To process those 10 requests does workflow of RITM's will triggers if  I modify the Request approval status to approved?

What is the workflow trigger condition, How it is triggered. Or is it directly added to catalog item workflow?

If the trigger condition matches, it will trigger.

It was directly attached to catalog item moreover I am unable to see the conditions tab in workflow properties as I read its not visible for ritm table by default.

Yes the RITM table won't be there.

See if there is set workflow(false) is written on the RITM table Business Rules. that might be preventing the workflow from attaching.

this is not happening for all, this is the odd behavior observed for only some requests and there are no separate conditions.
