Create Change Request Form Action In Incident SOW

Dear all

I am facing a problem with the Create Change Request Form/declarative action in the Incident Form in SOW.

My Customer wants to edit the field which should be populated in the Change request. 

For now, when I have an Incident and then click on "Create change request" and select a normal change those fields are copied from the Incident:

Caller

Configuration Item

Short description 

 

But the customer would like to also copy those fields 

 

Description

Assignment group 

Business Service 

etc...

The Same would be also for "Create Change Request" on the Problem

 

I created a Case at Support, but they are looking into this since 1 month and couldn't provide any solution. Could please someone tell me where I can edit the fields? 

Could you please assist me with issue

This is likely to depend on the family release you're on, however in Washington D.C it looks to be stored as a client state 'taskFields'. Unfortunately this page is read-only.

Yes you could, however I'm not sure on the wider implications of doing so 🙂

In Response, @Kieran Anson  is correct as to where the list of fields is located.

 

@Tiger_bubu - You can definitely create a variant of the change creation page and modify the list of fields for the customer, The only "impact" that this will have is that because there a variant, any enhancements that are made to the original page, these enhancements would not be present in the created variant.
