I have created a custom pop-up modal using UI Builder in ServiceNow, and I have successfully added a TextArea component. However, I would like to add a Reference field to the same modal, enabling users to select a record from another table.
Could someone please guide me on the recommended approach to include a Reference field component within a custom modal dialog in UI Builder? Specifically, I am looking for best practices or step-by-step instructions on configuring the reference field, including any considerations for data binding or passing the selected value back to the modal's context.
I have Implemented this in native view and I have to replicate the same functionality in SOW (Service Operation Workspace), I have attached the screenshot of the custom pop-up which I create in the native view for reference.
Any insights, documentation links, or practical examples would be greatly appreciated.
