AI search is not working on ESC portal post upgrade to Washington from Utah version

Hello,
We are facing an issue with the AI search on the ESC portal. Post the upgrade to Washington from Utah version the search has stopped working. No customization is done to the search widget , sources etc. OOB AI search was being used before the upgrade. Below is the investigation which we have done already.
1. AI search status is 'AI Search is ready'.
2. Enable AI Search checkbox is checked on the portal record.
3. Search application used = ESC Portal Default Search Application.
4. Search result configuration used = ESC Portal Search.
5. Checked the system properties - no issues identified.
6. In the system log we see the below error.
Can someone please help us with this issue.

Hi -- did you happen to find a solution for this? We encountered the same thing and have gotten no help from SN support yet.

Not sure which patch you have installed but there are fixes for AI search in Washington DC Patch 5
