While trying to publish a translated article from localization framework(sn_lf_comparison_ui page), the article is moving to auto publish state instead of draft. The requirement is to move the state to draft so that further modification can be done and then publish.
Anyone there who can help me out?
Thank you.

Hi @Apaul,
When a translated article is produced and added to the KB of the source article, the ootb behaviour is for it to follow the workflow associated to that KB. So, if that is the case that your KB has such a workflow associated to it, then that would be the reason.
If you need to have a review of the translations prior to them being published (and you couldn't change the default workflow in the KB, which is fine), then in LF you can change the "workflow" in the LF setting for KB article translations to "Translate" > "Translation Approval" > "Publish":
https://www.servicenow.com/docs/r/platform-administration/localization-framework/workflow-localizati...
For the approvals, you can assign it to the same KB group, they would just need the right role. If it's a different group per language that's also fine, you would just need to define a setting in LF per language following the same logic.
Many thanks,
Kind regards
