Hi all,
I have a doubt, I need to give access to sc_request,sc_req_item,sc_task tables to non-itil users, so i used sn_request_write,catalog,sn_request_comments_write roles to those users, when i cheked that these roles cover itil it is not, but friend said it is a part of itil role. I am confused now these role are free and oesnot include itil right? could someone help me on this.
Thanks in advance

Hello,
Generally there is a subscription section in your instance which would normally have the roles and prices but on no instance since I've used SN has this ever been populated with anything...automatically. Maybe you're supposed to do it yourself, I'm not sure.
For roles and the prices you have to get with your SN Account Executive to go over that information, then armed with that information, perhaps you could create something you can use.
Offcourse just giving the sn_request role instead of ITIL will have less cost as this means you are only giving access to request table rather than all the ITSM tables.

Hello,
I think what he meant was when you give someone ITIL role they also get these roles as all these roles are a part of ITIL role
But if you give theses roles individually it will it will not inherit ITIL role. Also just so that you are aware the ITIL users also get the access to request table because ITIL is the parent role of sn_request_write and so on.
