Hi All,
I would like to check with you on your experience utilizing Agent Client Collector Discovery?
Does any huge impact on the host machine?
As based on my past experience (many years ago) it does impact the host time to time.
Hence I would like to see how's the Agent Client Collector Discovery in this day and age.
Thanks

It has to be designed. Things we do to manage the ACC
If we are using for EUC devices use MID less ACC.
We always schedule the ACC. If it keeps on running then it uses lots of memory.
If you dont want to do SAM then using SGC is better ( if objective is to take inventory)
If SAM is roadmap then ACC is best.

Hey @raviannugra
In my experience, ACC Discovery generally has a low impact on the host. There can be some temporary CPU/memory usage during discovery, but it’s usually not significant. I’d suggest testing it on a few servers first to confirm the impact in your environment.
