Hi All,
We need to discover AIX servers.Could you please confirm ,do we need any other additional command to run discovery for AIX Server. As there is no command mentioned for AIX servers in below URL.
Also when I check Probe commands.I see commands listed for AIX ,linux ,Solaries. Do we need these command to run these command on target device as part of Sudo privilege. As many commands are not available in above URL.
Thanks.

Hi,
We use pattern based discovery and we are using OOB pattern. So we have not given any specific command to get details.
Just make sure the user has proper rights on that AIX server.
Thing is : /etc/sudoers file using the visudo command. This should be done for user used for discovery.
Thanks,
Ashutosh

HI,
Best way to look into this is the Pattern if you use pattern based discovery. If you use probe then check the probe for this commands.
Thanks,
Ashutosh

Hi Ashutosh,
Yes ,we are using probe based discovery .We need to use Root privilege Sudo command. The confusion is we don't have root privilege command for AIX servers in this URL(https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/paris-servicenow-platform/page/product/credentials/reference/r_SSHCredentialsForm.html) .
And The commands which are mentioned here (https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/orlando-it-operations-management/page/product/service-mapping/ref...) are having specific AIX server commands .To provide root privilege ,Do we need to give privilege with probe command also for target device(commands:cat,Is).If yes then what could be the reason these commands are not listed in root privilege commands document.
Please help me with this .
