AIX servers Discovery

Hi All,

We need to discover AIX servers.Could you please confirm ,do we need any other additional command to run discovery for AIX Server.As there is no command mentioned for AIX servers in below URL.

Also when I check Probe commands.I see commands listed for AIX ,linux ,Solaries. Do we need  these command to run these command on target device as part of Sudo privilege.As many commands are not available in above URL.

Hi,

I have not done this. We have a must_sudo parameter added to our probe and the user has rights for sudo.

ISOF was installed and then Applicative credentials for Oracle discovery.

This is what i did and it worked. I will check if we need root creds or not.

Hi Ashutosh,
Is there a list of commands that can be checked for privileges? I have a AIX discovery issue due to which IBM Websphere MQ server associated with it is not being updated with the correct version. Kindly guide.

Hi Doug thank you for this link, I have identified the below two commands, could you help me on how to run this command ? do we have to input any parameters or run it directly on the target server? and what are the results that I should be looking for?
