For Alert suppression - What if you want to suppress alert generation during the maintenance schedule set on the CI regardless of a change request being created. We have some devices that reboot every night and we keep getting alerts for them and they do not want to file a change for it every day for the 30 minutes it takes for all of them to reboot. I'm looking at the Maintenance Rules and cannot help but think that constantly adding and then removing the devices from the list is not the best way to go about this.

Also can anyone validate the suppression based on regex within the event description itself - and show a screenshot?
(I don't have access to ITOM yet unfortunately).
Examples I've seen only discuss creating a schedule and assigning against a CI.
Usecase:
We have a lot of servers that restart services in the maintenance window.
Suppressing only (x) event class with description (y) in the event messages.
eg: Service restarting - no need to alert us during scheduled maintenance window.
However, event for PSU or even CPUs flatlining during the same maintenance window - alert us so we can take action.
As you can imagine, suppressing at the CI won't help us here..
