ARP data is stored in Service Table Called- Network ARP Table [discovery_net_arp_table].
Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) map the IP address of a computer or network device to a MAC address. ARP table is used to maintain a correlation between each MAC address and its corresponding IP address.
Maintaining this ARP data in CMDB i dnt see a very solid business case.
Behind the scene ARP table data plays very Important role in LAYER 2 Discovery of n/w devices where relationships are created between Servers and N/w Devices.
