Attributes populated into the CMDB using Service Graph connectors vs cloud discovery

Hi All,

We are looking for best approach for discovering cloud resources AWS & Azure with traditional cloud discovery or ServiceGraph connector. Need a comparison between the attributes list populated by both these methods. Any documentations will be helpful.

I guess more or less we try to keep it consistent as to which data is populated from any kind of source.

So you have both options open to try w.r.t licensing or any other aspects and just relying on the data differences?

@SiD2 We are analyzing all the possible options for recommending either one of the 2 approach i.e., credential complexity, mid server installation, cost, time required for configuration, as well as the attributes. So any comparison between both the approach will be helpful.

Ohh I see, I guess you should then reach out to your support account manager who manages the Servicenow solutions for your org for better advises on these kind of analysis.

We don't have upfront doc on such comparisons per my knowledge.
