Azure Monitor Integration – Is "Enabled" App Registration Status Required?

Hi all,

We’re working on an Azure Monitor integration with ServiceNow using a webhook to send alerts to the  alert table.

We’ve noticed that the Azure app registration being used is currently disabled, and alerts are failing to reach ServiceNow. We’ve confirmed that the client secret, permissions (User.Read), and API exposure settings are all correctly configured.

My question is:

Is it a requirement for the Azure app registration to be in an "Enabled" state for Azure Monitor to successfully send alerts via webhook to ServiceNow?
Or is having a valid client secret and correct permissions sufficient?

Many Thanks,

Dhana.

Hi @Rummy1414 ,

Yes, you will need Azure app registration to be in an "Enabled" state for Azure Monitor.
