Hello All,
Can anyone help here with Storage Discovery .
Getting below error while doing storage discovery in Discovery Log.
1.Classified, couldn't identify,
Msg:- CMDB Identification Error: In payload missing minimum set of input values for criterion (matching) attributes from identify rule for table [cmdb_ci_storage_server]. Add these input values in payload item '{"className":"cmdb_ci_storage_server","values":{"discovery_source":"Manual Entry","sys_class_name":"cmdb_ci_storage_server"}}'
2.Active, couldn't classify
storage device discovered in past but now failing in discovery and same CIM credential in place. but we can not do/validate 'Test Credential' from CIM credential record.

Did the "Test Credential" work before on the CIM credential record?
You are getting an Identification Error which suggests that a payload was sent to ServiceNow during Discovery but it didn't pick up the necessary values. By default, at least the "Name" should be an acceptable unique attribute although the Serial number would be better. Go into the ECC Queue and look for the specific payload on the Discovery run.
Also, why is the "discovery_source" set to "Manual Entry"? If this was a ServiceNow Discovery then it should be set to "ServiceNow".

Thanks for response.
We don't have related link/option to do "Test Credential" for CIM type credential. PFB snap.
classify Input record shows name in payload and Identity has error on line 10, but unable to trace what exactly is mean this error. attached both xml files.
for Discovery Source- there's no datasource set for cmdb_ci_storage_server. where i can check & how to see for discovery.
