Can CMDB Discovery find network shared folders?

From what I can find, it appears that Discovery CANNOT find network file shares, however I thought I would pose the question here in case my Google skills are lacking.  I have found many 'lan scanner' tools that can do this, however I was hoping our Discovery tool would possibly do this.  Thanks!

As far as I know, when doing a quick research, there is no such functionality OOTB yet. In fact, some users seem to struggle on identifying the proper class to manage shared folders as CI's in CMDB.

There is however an idea created for it in the Idea Portal which you can upvote. This should be a good way to let ServiceNow know about this requirement so it can be considered for future releases. You might look at the Win32_share wmi class and see if that has what you are looking for and you can extend the pattern(s) to populate the same.
