Cannot connect to Elastic Search Server, check URL and credentials servicenow

Hi Team,

 

Good day!

While integrating Elastic search with ServiceNow we are facing following issue.

"Cannot connect to Elastic Search Server, check URL and credentials servicenow"  

Please help me with the solution.

How are u connecting - Direct URL Rest Based, Connector etc.

Is elastic search is hosted - On Prem or on Cloud.

We are connecting using Direct URL Rest Based.

Is elastic search is hosted - On Prem or on Cloud.

-> We are hosting Elastic search on cloud

 

Can you share the screen shot of Connection settings from ELK to Service Now?

Hi Rahul, we followed below procedure.

  • Install Mid server and configure in ServiceNow.
  • Navigate to Health Log Analytics > Data Inputs

  • Click new and create Data input.

  • Provide the required details ( Name , Mid server and application service etc )

  • Provide ElasticSearch Server URL and credentials as per below attached screenshot.

Note : We need to create API key credentials for ElasticSearch authentication in Servicenow.

Step-1 : Navigate to All > integration Hub > credentials.

Step-2 : Click on New

Step-3 : Select API Key credentials

Step-4 : Login to ElasticSearch

Step-5 : Navigate to stack management > under Security , select API key.

Step-6 : Click on create API key , provide name and create new API Key
