CI Change OOB Classification

If I have several classes of CIs that I want to classify as higher-order (e.g., Oracle Instance --> Database Instance) and some to a different class (eg. Linux Server --> UNIX Server), what is the best mechanism for me to do this?

How would I go about it? Also, do I need to change any reclassify properties?

are you using Service Now Discovery to Populate the CMDB CIs ?

Are you referring to existing CMDB data reclassification or Reclassification at system meta data level.

As per design All Child Classes data will be available into Parent Class Hierarchy too.

So i am interested in knowing ur Use Case here?
