Creating a flow that is kicked off as soon as a specific catalog item is used

Hi everyone

 

I have been battling all day to figure out how to kick of a flow as soon as a specific catalog item has been used in the service catalog. The flow itself is very basic but I have never used flow designer before. What must happen is this:

As soon as someone submits a request in the portal using the "CODI Request" catalog item, it must send an email to a specific email address. That's it ... but I have been trying all day with no luck. Any suggestions please?

Hi @Thereza Van der :
You can configure your flow in the following steps to send the mail.
1. Create a Flow and configure the trigger to "Service Catalog".

2. Add Action "Send Email" .

3.Configure Email according to your requirement by adding the target record to the requested item.

4. Add this Flow to you catalog item by configuring in the "Process Engine"
