Custom Application Pattern Not Executing

I have a custom application pattern I created for Top down discovery. Its Active and published. However, when I run Discovery the Generic Application pattern runs instead of my custom application. The discovery pattern logs has no record of the custom pattern running. I have tried to "Sync Pattern to Mid Server" and that still didn't work. Its seems that only the OOB patterns will work. Has anyone experienced this before and found a solution? 

 

Or know of a way to convert the Generic application CI type to custom CI type I want when discovery is ran?

Is it the extension or a new one from scratch? if it's new one you need add the trigger probs. Check this discovery_probes_wmi table.

I built it from scratch. I tried to create a probe and I had not success not sure if I'm doing it correctly. Do you have an example?
