In Service Mapping -> Application Services -> View Map.
Can the following be customised:-
1) Display additional server information such as CPU, RAM etc.
2) Customise the name displayed for the 'discovered node'

It won't be possible to do that. The Node in the map will always show the CI name label and just that. Not additional things. The right approach to check the CI properties is to check the right panel.

Hi Charles,
You can use the this documentation to set/configure the sa_map_properties view.
I hope this doc helps you to configure the properties that you want to add into your service map.

Hi Eduardo,
thanks for your reply. I believe the properties which you share is to modify the information on the right panel when we click on the individual CI in the service map.
We have users whom wants to customise the information to be shown in the mapping area by
changing the CI 'display name/details', to having extra information regarding the CI(either inside/beside/around).
