We recently upgraded from Vancouver to Washington DC and I have noticed very poor alert grouping in Event Management. I am not sure if it has to do with the release or something else.
I see patterns that have over 4k alerts that are largely unrelated. also the time window seems very strange.
example,
Time Window ID: 1970-01-01 00:00:00_1969-12-31 23:59:59 (4289)

Hello StephenM
The grouping relies on assignment groups. For example, cmdb_ci.support_group,IntegrationGroup, and this is done due to the system property "evt_mgmt.alert_auto_assignment_field"
Please refer "Introducing Alert Assignment Groups in the Washington Release"
