Discovery failure: Reference and relation tables must be a CI Type

Hi, I'm getting an error in one of my patterns: "Identification Engine: Discovery status is FAILURE, Identification sections in pattern failed: section: <Pattern name> Identification, error: Reference and relation tables must be a CI Type, change <cmdb table name> to a correct type.. "

Pattern runs successfully through all steps, and fails at last step where relationship between parent and child CIs is created.

Error message doesn't give any sense - "Reference and relation tables must be a CI Type" - both my parent and child classes are CMDB classes. 

Hope anyone has any idea what might be causing this

checked those earlier, but my configuration seems right

for the given Class u have OOTB IRE rules no customizations?

The problem disappeared once we re-synced the pattern to Mid Server, no idea what it did, but it magically started working again
