Discovery is not updating the Model ID and Manufacturer

Hello Experts,

I have discovered UPS device but Model ID and Manufacturer fields are empty. 

When i checked in ECC queue and SNMP OID's input payload, model ID is already there. I am not understanding why discovery is not updating that data.

Please help me....

Just best practice to keep that table up to date. OOTB code will look at that table in sensor only to provide values.

I have added this OID to SNMP OID table and i left the model and manufacturer fields empty. Because i dont want to update these fields manually.

Still discovery is not able to update.

Look at the sensor code for SNMP- Classify probe. The code will only update the two fields if the OID record match and you place value in them.

May be worth noting that from my experience, the Manufacturer and Model information associated with a Classifier will override anything found in a Pattern later on.

please check once that you have written any reconciliation rule and data precedence rule for the same.

if yes then check the order of it.
