Hi,
I have done discovery on a linux server.
I found the Disk space filed was "0" though it has file system records whose type are local and size are 120 and 1000GB.
Could you please tell me how the Disk space field is calculated?
In addition, I would like to know about the difference of the tubs, Storage HBAs, Storage devices and File Systems in related list.
Kohei

Hi,
The Disk space is aggregate of all different storage related information gathered on that particular device. It is aggregate of space occupied by (Storage Device + Disk + Fibre Channel Disk + iSCSI Disk)
You can check the logic in the Linux Server pattern which is under "Linux - Storage" library. The exact step is "Update total disk space on Linux CI" which updates the disk space on the linux server CI.
Please Mark Helpful if it helps.

Hi, SiD
Thanks for telling me where SN calculate the disk storage size.
Do you know why these (Storage Device + Disk + Fibre Channel Disk + iSCSI Disk) volume is the source to be aggregate?
I mean I don't still understand why the file system is out of disk space.

Hi,
Even I'm not sure though why it is out of it. 🙂
See if some one can help.

Hi Sid,
Does the same logic apply to Solaris Server pattern as well?
Thanks
