Hi, Does discovery service account require full control (Read, write, edit etc) admin access to discover windows servers and mssql instance running on them. or is it read only access.
Please tell me if it has full control what could go wrong?
You need local admin privilege to run netstat commands. Readonly privileges should be enough. And no discovery do not perform any write operations on target machine.
