Hi,
The Windows cluster node table is creating duplicates starting Nov 2023 (coinciding with the organization's instance upgrade to Tokyo). Not sure, if this has to do with the upgrade activity, but highly likely that is the case.
There is a related article here from ServiceNow support that suggests with an update set to the Windows servers discovery sensor. We did update the sensor, but unfortunately, didn't solve the issue.
Temporarily, we created a business rule to stop the creation of duplicates in the Windows cluster node table. But this is not a permanent solution to the issue. Has anyone encountered the issue before and if there is any resolution for this?
With regards,
Senai

Hi Rahul, you are right, but the class I am talking about is not Windows Cluster (cmdb_ci_win_cluster). I am talking about the Windows Cluster Node(cmdb_ci_win_cluster_node). The attributes are
- name, serial number
- name
The serial number value doesn't even have any value for both. The only difference is that the discovery source for the original is ServiceNow, whereas the new one has the discovery source value as empty.

Same issue, and as they are remediated, dups are recreated for those same nodes.

We're you ever able to find resolution on this? We are experiencing the same situation and have tried every "fix" referenced in multiple Community threads
