Environment Type in CMDB

I am looking to autopopulate the environemtn type (PROD and Non PROD) based on a discovery schedule. Any help is appreciated.

How Can I utilize the discovery schedule and modify the pattern to add environment. I guess the location fields from the discovery schedule is mapped to CI location. I am looking for similar one. Any docs, links available?

You Can do it using Scheduled Job - Set value based on the differentiated N/W Segment based on ur Job.

Or You Can pass Parameter in Job from Your Schedule

Thanks for replies, I have a subnets and location to differentiate....I would say different discovery schedules each for prod and non prod.
