Friends,
I am trying to do Application service for Pulse secure application. (VPN application)
The below is the requirement to do the service mapping ,
VPN service end point is “ https://secure.XXX.com “ where the port is 443 for that URL. And VPN port is UDP 500.
But I am getting below error when i click View map.
Service Mapping triggered the horizontal discovery to find the host XXX.YYY.Z.254, because this host was not in the CMDB. The horizontal discovery failed. No results returned from probe.
But there is record in CMDB . So need suggestion what action I have to do now.
Regards,
VASS

What is the error when you do a quick discovery of the IP address?
Is it the IP address of the device/server that runs the VPN application or another device for example a Load Balancer?

MID Server mid.server.AWSEUSNWKTMIDCL_E1DR is not a suitable MID because it does not have the following capabilities [{Capability: Nmap, value: null}]
Thanks

The message says that NMAP (Credential-less discovery) isn't enabled. Discovery uses NMAP when it doesn't have the correct credentials to discover the device.
Provide the correct credentials for the device with that IP address in the credential table.
And run a quick discovery again.

Michael
