How cmdb_key_value table is populated

Hello all.

I'm trying to set properly the Discovery by tags related to Azure CIs and need to understand how the cmdb_key_value table is populated.

Mainly I think that Discovery does it because the 'Created by' for each element on this table is my Discovery user. I checked all patterns that have 'cmdb_key_value' in the Pattern Text, but all the ones that I found (generic or related to Azure elements) use this table to check, but don't see that they fill it.

Does anyone know?

Hi @Alexandro Mattei,

I clearly see there are many pattern libraries that populate the tags in cmdb_key_value table and all these libraries are part of patterns store app.

Also these patterns are meant to trigger by events or normal LP discovery.

So have you migrated from CAPI to pattern based discovery? if yes, these libraries will definitely be executed and the tags should be populated.

If in case you are still on CAPI based discovery, you need to check the "Cloud API->Cloud API Trail" to see the logs and where the tags are populated. I'm not sure though on this CAPI based whether tags are implemented or not.
