Hello All,
We have the Discovery populating the Serial number field on the linux server ,as per the OOTB process we have access to dmidecode and the system serial number,uuid,chassis number , baseboard serial number are being populated as expected.
But on the Linux server table the serial number field is set with the value from the system_serial_number value from the the cmdb_serial_number table.
Could you please help find where this is defined for the Discovery to populate the serial number field value with system_serial_number ,I have checked the Linux server pattern steps but could not find where it was updating the linux server serial number field.
