1. HOW TO CREATE NEW CI MANUALLY AND IT SHOULD BE VISBLE IN CHANGE OR INCIDENT REQUEST

2. HOW TO CREATE CI THROUGH DISCOVERY PLEASE HELP HERE

Hi @ARAVIND22 

 

1. This is not recommended however if you want to, just decide which CI class you need from the CI Hierarchy in CI Class Manager and then go to respective table and create new record and fill required details manually.

 

2. You need to best check with the SNOW admin who is responsible in your org and get the required discovery plugin installed on the instance.

Post installation you need to add credentials in the instance for the target device and install mid server in an env where your target device is reachable from the mid.

Post that you can run discovery on the IP by clicking Quick Discovery option from Discovery Schedules menu.

 

You can refer the SNOW doc here for the entire process or also use the" ITOM Guided Setup" on the instance.
