How to create service map for network

We have a requirement where we need to create a service map for network topology. 

So the client get data from the switches it travels through multiple switches and reach to end switch. 

Is it possible to create a map? We have routing table populated in the cmdb and it dose have the route information. But I am not finding any way to do this? 

Can I extend a pattern to trace the route?

Hi Rahul, 

Thank you for the response. I have seen the article. We do not have servers in between. It is like taking a feed from an exchange and delivering it to the client. I want to build something like if I give a switch IP as an entry point then it should use the routing table to tell me the path.

OOTB i doubt its there but you can explore this but i am less hopeful in SM

If its not then you can float an idea on idea pofrtal.

In the article, the network path is shown. So it is possible. I need to find out how the path is getting populated. What do you think? @Rahul Priyadars
