I have an agent installed on windows machine with MSSQL instance running on it. I am configuring metric policies , some checks require credentials to login to MSSQL. How can we get these credentials? do we need to provide access to the agent service account to database or create a new service account and use those credentials ? Currently I have set up a new service account with access to the database to run select queries , but those credentials are throwing login failure error.
Any inputs would be helpful
