Hello,
According to the ServiceNow documentation, you can discover storage devices using ServiceNow Discovery via SNMP protocol, but with some limitations. For example, you cannot discover the following information using SNMP:
- Storage pools
- Storage volumes
- Storage processors
- Storage ports
- Storage disks
- Storage file systems
- Storage shares
To discover this information, you need to use the Common Information Model (CIM) protocol, which requires the Service Location Protocol (SLP) and the SMI credential.
SNMP discovery Explained - Support and Troubleshooting (servicenow.com) - This may help.
Kind Regards,

Iam using SIMs and CIM Creds, I have few question >
1. Can i use my existing mid server for SIMs installation ?
2. Which all ports would be requested for opening ?
3. What all credentials and how many are required for storage devices discovery (Hauwie storage)? One CIM creds with admin access is fine ?
