By default, agent client collector populate Base board serial number on host CI.
How to populate BIOS Serial number instead on host CI using Agent Client Collector?

In Normal Discovery It can be achieved using Pattern Tailoring. 

In case of ACC-V - ServiceNow  Agent installed on your  Windows  and Linux servers to run push-based Discovery on a host. ACC-V deploys Ruby scripts that execute OS Query commands and OS-specific commands to gather the information. In This case you may need to look these RUBY SCRIPTS for customization.

 

I have not done ACC-V Customization but just fetched from docs.

Hey,

Could you check your ACC-V version, please. According to this documentation the Version 1.2.0 from July 2021 should contain the fallback serial number check for the BIOS serial number.
