Deb,
If you are talking about services found in Windows then you need to add the probe to the classifier for windows. The probe name is Windows - Services and I don't think it's added by default but it's there (go into classification -> Windows and find the version of Windows you want to discover it for and add the probe to the list of triggered probes for that classifier). This should get you any Services that are setup on a windows machine.

Hi Deb,
To discover CI you need to plugin discovery module. When you login your instance on that login page from Action tab there is one option activate plugin. In that you select Discovery with demo option.
Which machine you want to discover First Create credential for that.
Discovery > Credential > New > Windows Credential > fill password and username of machine which you want to discover > test > Give IP address of that machine which you want to discover > If it give message as Authenticated then proceed.
There are 2 ways to discover.
1.Quick discovery.
Discovery > Quick Discovery > Give IP address of that machine which you want to discover and select MID server. and start discovery
2.Schedule Discovery
Discovery > Schedule Discovery > select Configuration Item > Select MID server > in Related list there is quick range option in that give IP address of that machine which you want to discover > Discover now.
If you find my answer worthy Please mark as correct/helpful.
