Incident resolve gives asset action error

When closing an incident we get "To resolve this incident, choose and asset action for each configuration item that includes an asset." This is in a new instance we migrated to. It does not happen for all CIs. Looking for information on how to set this as required and turn it off.

This is an expected behavior as part of the ITSM and HAM better together initiative.

 

It appears that your UI wasn’t configured to perform the mandatory asset action, or we can’t see it. Is there a related list called ‚Affected CIs‘ below? You should select the appropriate action from there, and the incident will be closed.

Before disabling the feature, please ensure you understand all its implications. The goal is to enhance the quality of the CMDB, and I recommend keeping the feature active.
