It is not possible to register the instance you are on as a remote instance

Updated to Helsinki Patch 5 and now am unable to pull update sets from Dev Server.  

When pressing "Test Connection" am getting "It is not possible to register the instance you are on as a remote instance".  

Has anyone seen this error or figured this one out yet?

Thanks for the update and pictures. I'm running out of ideas. Was your prod instance recently cloned to EA Dev Server? I wonder if it thinks the dev server is not a dev server.



Unless someone else in the community has thoughts on this, it might be time to reach out to customer support. Setting up remote update sources is a pretty straight forward procedure.

The message you are getting says 'It is not possible to register the instance you are on as a remote instance"



This will typically happen if you are using your current instance URL as the remote instance URL.



Check if you are using the right URLs for the remote instance URL.
