ITOM Error Task

Is anyone using the OOB ITOM Error Task table (sa_error_handler_task) to track Discovery errors. While exploring this further, it is seen that the Error Task that gets created is just copying the message into the task summary. For anyone who has used/are using ITOM Error Task, any suggestions on how to use this effectively by capturing more Discovery log data into the Task.

Thanks Rahul, customization of 'Create Task' also seems to be ruled out based on the update from ServiceNow support ("With the current design looks like this cannot be customized from your end as well since this is internal to ServiceNow"). Submitting an idea/enhancement request is always an option that can be explored.

Its Not Even Populating the Message Column which is coming into Discovery Home - Error Part.

I fact error record has more info than TASK we created for tracking.

Create TASK UI Button needs some Customization so that More Information can be captured for Troubleshooting.

Raise an Idea on Service Now Idea Portal or Do some customization for your environment.

We just installed the updates to the Discovery Admin Workspace and these tasks are now being auto generated for some reason. My question is now that they are being auto generated in the workspace I try going retry discovery option and it says it is doing it, but the discovery never runs. Wonder if anyone has any ideas on that:
