ITOM pattern required Visibility Content 6.15.0 not licensed/not available on PDI

Discovery and Service Mapping Patterns 1.10.0 (sn_itom_pattern) requires Visibility Content 6.15.0 (sn_pattern_design).
The D&SM Patterns update fails on a PDI, since VC 6.15.0 is 'not licensed'.
The Application Manager redirects to the ServiceNow Store for VC 6.15.0. Only, plugins or updates can't be retrieved for PDIs in this way.
How can I get D&SM Patterns 1.10.0 installed?

@Ralph8 I have experienced this same issue today. I have been able to install Discovery and Service Mapping 1.8.0 on my PDI since the interface allows for selection of older versions. Appreciate this might not be ideal if you intend to migrate configuration onto a customer environment, but at least this provides access to the Pattern Designer functionality.

Hi @samfindlay94. This is the current install status on my PDI too. The intention is to align with the installed versions on the customer platform.

@Ralph8 Yeah that would make sense. I've been tinkering around but as far as I can tell it would appear that ServiceNow have locked away the latest version of this product behind the store interface. 😟
If this issue is affecting your ability to meet a customer deliverable, you may be within your right to raise it as a HI ticket. I doubt they will be able to take action since PDIs are not within HI scope, but it could potentially lead to a PRB being raised at least.

For me, the VC 6.15.0 version is not offered as an option.

As of 2024-01-25, Visibility Content is: sn_pattern_designer version 6.15.2 is not available to be installed in our DEV instance; 6.12.3 is the highest available.
And that lower version of Visibility Content will not allow the Discovery and Service Mapping Patterns id: sn_itom_pattern Version 1.10.0 or 1.10.1 to be installed.
I created a SN tech support ticket to see if they can update it for me.
