Hello Experts,
When i have made a report on CI relationship Table for the Linux and Windows servers to identify the "Oracle Database Server" I have seen there are multiple duplicate entries of Single server (Almost 790) in CI relationship associated with the same Host name.
I know there is some problem in CI relationship table that's why its showing multiple entries..however each server is associated with Single Host name only just entries are multiple in Ci Relationship table.
Can you please help me and tell me why is this issue coming and how can we solve this?
Thank You in Advance!!

HI,
Now this is strange. Because you say that we have only one CI respective table there is only one entry. Can you check in parent cmdb table if you have duplicate CIs?
Thanks,
Ashutosh

Hello Ashutosh,
I have checked in Parent Table(Server) but there are no duplicates there .
Duplicates are only present in CI Relationship table.
There might be a possibility that this is occuring as there is no identification rule on ci relationship ,or any criteria to stop the creation of duplicates.
What are your views regarding this?
Regards,
Riya

HI,
We dont have Identifiers on Relationship tables. This is handled in OOB scripts of discovery and other patterns or probes.
Thanks,
Ashutosh

Hello Rahul,
The kind of Relationship is mostly "Runs on", in some cases it is also "Used by".
No its not happening for a particular ci as I have told i have made a report on mainly Linux server and Windows Server and then grouped by zone say Asia so in that particular class say Linux out of 200 CI's 89 ci's are showing this behaviour.
