Need to normalize Operating system populated in CMDB via different discovery sources

Hi,

We have different sources populating CMDB records, operating system values are not normalized, and the operating system populating from SCCM is highlighted in blue color since it is not matching the choice list.

One option I could see is to update the transform map between the SCCM import tables and the CMDB table.

Please advise if you have better options.

For a give ci is os can be updated by 2 sources? Which source gives you more accurate os data? If sccm updated CI are only updated by sccm system then I think transform os data as per your drop down else reconcile it using data precedence rule. Regards RP

Maybe the plugin "Field normalization" is an option.
