no credential would validate for http:10.xx.xx.xx sdk error in VMWare discovery, when we test credential using discovery affinity IP address it is successful, but when we run discovery it shows the error no credential would validate for http:10.xx.xx.xx sdk .... What s the reason?

Hi - First thing I'd check is make sure your MID server (during Discovery attempt) is even reaching out to that IP address. i.e. check both the logs and ensure the MID has an IP Range that handles whatever your 10.x.x.x. subnet is. The logs should also tell you if the target is unreachable (i.e. no MID is setup to cover handle it)
Since you know the CRED is good, I'd be looking at the setup of the MIDs.
Hope this helps...

Logs didn't shown that no mid server is setup to cover handle it. If CRED is good, why the error no credential would validate 10.20.X.X sdk? Do you meant to setup mid server again?

1. How many MID servers do you have?
2. Is there an ip affinity created?
3. Can you run a successful host discovery?
4. Are you running a quick discovery or scheduled?
